Event Overview:
This business matchmaking event served as a key trade platform for Taiwan's food industry to tap into the rapidly expanding global halal market. It focused on core Muslim-friendly product categories including processed foods, agricultural and seafood products, frozen ready-to-eat meals, seasonings and sauces, and specialty snack foods.The event adopted a full on in-person, one-on-one matchmaking format, precisely connecting Taiwanese suppliers with halal food importers, multinational supermarket chains, food service procurement professionals, and major distributors from Southeast Asia, the Middle East, South Asia, and other emerging markets.

Through face-to-face discussions and tailored business matching, the event helped Taiwanese companies overcome complicated barriers regarding halal certification and cross-border regulatory compliance while also facilitating entry into mainstream consumer markets and Muslim food supply chains worldwide.

Job Responsibilities:
Service Desk and Access Control staff were responsible for verifying attendee identities and managing entry to designated areas. The Call Management and Waiting area teams coordinated participant flow, ensured the smooth progression of one-on-one meetings, and managed standby arrangements as needed. Meanwhile, Table Coordinators oversaw meeting schedules, monitored the duration of each business session, and maintained order throughout the matchmaking process. They also provided real-time operational coordination and on-site support to ensure all business meetings were conducted efficiently and on schedule.
