Event Overview:
The Kaohsiung International Food Show and the Kaohsiung International Hotel, Restaurant, and Bakery Equipment & Supplies Show attracted nearly 6,500 local and international industry professionals from 35 countries. The top five buyer countries were Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Singapore, highlighting the importance of the exhibition in the global food industry supply chain.
The event is hosted by the Bureau of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Economic Affairs, executed by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), and co-organized by the Kaohsiung City Government Ocean Affairs Bureau. Together, they are committed to promoting the commercial development of the food industry supply chain in central and southern Taiwan.
In response to global sustainability trends, the event partnered with the Industrial Technology Research Institute to conduct a three-phase carbon footprint assessment, covering pre-production, exhibition operations, and post-event recycling. Carbon emission data will be used as a foundation for environmental improvements in future events, setting a standard for energy-saving and carbon reduction in the industry. Additionally, the event featured the Low Carbon Diet Zone for the first time, showcasing low-carbon ingredients, organic food, eco-friendly packaging, and food preservation technologies and solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
Event information service desk, luggage storage service, press room access control and ensure space cleanliness, conduct satisfaction surveys from attendees, monitor exhibitor booths for compliance and report violations, provide on-call assistance and support, assist visitors with shuttle bus transportation, guide exhibitors at N8/N9 gates for entry and replenishment, assist with booth activities and ensure smooth operations, tickets sales and guidance to purchase tickets, validate tickets and manage access control, assist with badge exchanges for attendees, provide guidance and assist attendees with queue management
