2025 13th Taipei International Comics and Animation Festival

Event Overview:
This year, the event will host over 100 exhibitors, with around 800 booths, attracting 485,000 attendees over the 5-day exhibition period. The theme "FUN, Play Creativity" will bring the most exciting activities and the most diverse exhibitions to the audience. Highlights of this year’s event include the ICHIBAN JAPAN Japanese Pavilion, featuring approximately 60 special guests and showcasing a rich variety of anime content.
The event will also feature 33 autograph sessions and meet-and-greet events with well-known domestic and international artists, including 13 voice actors and around 30 idol groups, allowing fans to interact with their favorite stars. Additionally, a wide range of related merchandise, first-edition books, boxed sets, lucky bags, and gift exchanges will be available, attracting a large number of participants.
This year, Taiwanese original IPs and VTubers will shine at the event, with characters like Bugcat Cuppo becoming a hot commodity in the event’s merchandise. Local VTuber activities are also expected to draw large crowds. To promote more local creations, the event will feature a "Taiwan Original IP Ranking" to showcase past works, giving more exposure to outstanding projects and supporting the growth of local creative industries.
To attract more young people, the Ministry of Culture will offer "Cultural Coins" discounts for students aged 13 to 22, allowing them to enjoy discounts on specific products, further promoting cultural consumption and the development of the cultural and creative industries. This initiative will not only raise awareness of anime culture but also support the growth of the related industries.
