2025 Smart City and Net-Zero Cities Exhibition

Event Overview:
The 2025 Smart City Exhibition, themed "Digital and Green Dual-axis Transformation," is organized by the Taipei City Government, Kaohsiung City Government, and the National Development Council. The exhibition will feature over 2,000 booths, with expectations of a record number of international visitors. This year, the event will also be linked with the Yushan Forum, bringing international dignitaries to visit the exhibition and engage in economic and cultural exchanges.
The exhibition will focus on AI applications across industries, with developments in edge computing and generative AI accelerating its integration into sectors like transportation, healthcare, architecture, and energy-saving solutions. Companies and government agencies will showcase cutting-edge technologies and applications aimed at promoting industrial transformation.
The development of smart cities relies on international cooperation. Partnerships between Chunghwa Telecom, NTT, Singapore Telecom (Singtel), Thailand’s AIS, and other international players will be showcased, highlighting multinational cooperation in smart city solutions. The exhibition will also feature smart construction initiatives in countries like Indonesia, the Middle East, and Thailand, focusing on areas such as 5G signal enhancement, cybersecurity, and public health services.
With Taiwan planning to phase out nuclear power plants by the end of 2025, Virtual Power Plants (VPPs) will become key to stabilizing the electrical grid. The VPP SIG (Virtual Power Plant Special Interest Group) will set up a dedicated pavilion to present energy management platforms, collaboration solutions, and expert forums to discuss Taiwan’s VPP development strategy.
Job Responsibilities:
Welcome overseas government officials and assist with airport pickups, guide and assist attendee, verify identities and control access, assist with activities in the themed pavilion, support the opening ceremony and forum seating, assist in guiding VIPs to booths for tours
