Event Overview:
The 2026 Smart City Summit & Expo and Net-Zero City Expo opened with the core vision of “AI at the Core: Driving Dual Transformation in Digitalization and Sustainability.”, closely aligning with global trends in urban digitalization, net-zero transition, and sustainable development. As AI and smart city technologies continued to advance rapidly, the global AI-driven smart city market was projected to reach US$460.47 billion by 2032, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 16.9%. Meanwhile, the ESG and sustainability market was expected to exceed US$39 billion, growing at an annual rate of 27.8%, which highlighted substantial business opportunities and strong potential in growth.
The exhibition was dedicated to cross-industry integration and comprehensive urban solutions, encompassing six key dimensions: cross-field exhibitions, professional forums, city-to-city exchanges, award presentations, on-site field visits, and business matchmaking activities. Key themes include AI City, smart transportation, smart buildings, smart healthcare, smart security, energy transition, and net-zero industries. The event also placed strong emphasis on a “problem-driven” matchmaking strategy, starting out from real urban challenges. Through pre-event global city demand surveys, on-site thematic workshops and needs disclosure, and post-event tracking and matching, the event ensured that technologies and solutions were precisely aligned with market needs. By doing so, the exhibition aimed to realize the vision of “Taiwan Can Do” and “Taiwan Will Lead.” Beyond showcasing technological innovation, it also drove advancements in urban governance, industrial innovation, and sustainable development, offering exhibitors and visitors a comprehensive and in-depth smart city experience.

Job Responsibilities:
During the exhibition, HWH provided full on-site operational support, assisting with process control to ensure the smooth execution of activities across exhibition zones, meeting rooms, and stage programs. The team was also responsible for ticketing and credential management, facilitating efficient entry for visitors and exhibitors while maintaining access control. In addition, the team managed crowd flow and circulation to uphold on-site order and safety, while supporting booth setup and daily operations to ensure seamless exhibitor presentations and interactions. For guided tours and meetings, the team assisted with both Chinese and English tours, as well as meeting room coordination, delivering professional guidance and on-site support. Staff also supported business matchmaking activities and themed workshops, while providing information, consultation, and real-time assistance at the service desk. Throughout the event, mobile staff was flexibly deployed to respond to unexpected situations. logistics personnel assisted with dining areas, baggage storage, and move-out operations. The team was committed to ensuring the smooth execution of the entire event from opening to closing, delivering a complete and high-quality smart city experience for both exhibitors and visitors.
