This year, the Ministry of Economic Affairs’ Technology R&D Pavilion once again participated in TAIPEI CYCLE. Aligning with the latest trends of e-bikes and sports technology, the pavilion showcased 19 selected R&D projects in the bicycle field, covering areas such as e-bikes, sports technology, smart manufacturing, testing and certification services, and talent development and net-zero carbon initiatives.
This exhibit highlighted cutting-edge patented technologies tailored to industry needs, driving new technological breakthroughs, aiming to build connections toward a smarter future. All industry professionals are welcomed to visit and explore.
One of the featured highlights is an “intelligent-shifting e-assist suspension bicycle”. The system significantly shortens the frame development cycle leveraging Model-Based Design (MBD). In addition, its smart gear-shifting control allows riders to seamlessly switch between manual and automatic modes. Combined with cadence-maintenance and power-maintenance modes, it ensures stable and efficient power output during riding. On top of that, the stepless assist ratio adjustment enables riders to fine-tune assistance levels based on road conditions and personal preferences, delivering a more adaptive and intelligent riding experience.
